Youth Employment Summit Connects Hundreds of Youth with Local Employers
On April 15, the MassHire Hampden County Workforce Board hosted a Youth Employment Summit at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, bringing together 240 young adults and 40 employers and youth-serving agencies from across Hampden County.
Employers and partner organizations were able to engage with local talent and share information about employment, training, and career development programs.
This event is part of the Healey-Driscoll Administration’s Youth Employment and Skills (YES) Initiative, a statewide effort to expand access to meaningful employment opportunities, career exploration, and skill-building experiences for young people across Massachusetts.
