MHHCWB celebrates 8 years as a MA Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor!
MHHCWB was approved by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Apprentice Standards (“DAS”) as a Registered Apprenticeship (RAP) Sponsor in June 2016. MHHCWB has served continuously in the Sponsor role for the past eight (8) years. MHHCWB is presently serving as a Sponsor of Record and an intermediary for several private sector employers in healthcare and behavioral health and manufacturing industries. In that role, MHHCWB is managing the implementation of the Standards, and utilizing the Division of Apprentice Standards online application for all registration and reporting requirements. MHHCWB has registered over 500 apprentices (all occupations) in collaboration with 21 employers in MA. 74% of the registered apprentices have successfully completed the Work Process and Related Technical Instruction associated with the DAS approved occupations. Massachusetts has a rich history of successful registered apprenticeship programs (RAPs) in expansion industries within healthcare and manufacturing sector occupations.
