MassHire Hampden County Workforce Board (MHHCWB) welcomes EOLWD Secretary Jones to Metrica Interior, Inc. in Northampton during National Apprenticeship Week. MHHCWB is a co-sponsor for the Registered Apprenticeship Program highlighted during the November 19th visit. It was a great opportunity to highlight the amazing and unique work we are doing in Western MA to stand up programs and opportunities to train and upskill the workforce.

A Registered Apprenticeship Program is a key resource for employers to address workforce shortages and encourage residents to pursue apprenticeship pathways in sectors like construction and building trades, life sciences, health and human services, education, advanced manufacturing, and other industries.
