RFQ for ABE/ESOL Services – The submission date for Requests for Qualifications from Community Adult Learning Centers that were the selected vendors from the recent procurement (FY 2019) of MA  Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Adult Education and Family Literacy Services to provide ESOL and/or ABE services to people who have relocated to MA due to the recent hurricanes (Irma and Maria – October 2017) is extended to November 30, 2018.   Click on RFQ link RFQ specifications!

City of Springfield Announces Workforce Training Course for Metal Fabrication Skills

Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and the MassHire Hampden County Workforce Board  in partnership with the Sheet Metal Local 63 and the MassHire Springfield Career Center (formerly FutureWorks) are co-sponsoring a Manufacturing-Fabrication Training Program for unemployed and under-employed Springfield residents as part of the City’s emphasis in supporting workforce development opportunities for city residents. The course is free of charge and total 150 hours of sheet metal occupational and job readiness instruction. Click here for more information.
